If this equipment causes harm to the telephone network, the telephone company will notify you in advance that temporary discontinuance of the service may be required. If the equipment is causing harm to the telephone network, the telephone company may request that you disconnect the equipment until the problem is resolved.
Telephone companies report that electrical surges, typically lightning transients, are very destructive to customer terminal equipment connected to AC power sources. The use of a surge arrestor on the AC line is recommended.

To do so may invalidate the existing registration, and you would become responsible for compliance evaluation, and registration of the resulting equipment.

The primary role of this product is as Telecommunications Network Equipment. The product is not considered to be Customer Equipment (CE). When deploying this product for use in Taiwan, the telecommunications interfaces can only be configured for E1 operation.
