Youmay not have connected the
receiverto an active telephone line.
Or,the telephone line may be
defective.
Maybethe receiver is connected to a
DSL(Digital Subscriber Line)
phoneline.
Connectthe receiver to an active telephone line.
Makesure that the telephoneline to which you connect the receiver
isw orking properly.
Note:T o be able to order pay pe r view programs, you mustkeep
thereceiver connected to an active telephone lineat all times. If
yoursetup includes more than one receiver,this applies to each
receiver. The receiver uses the telephone line to make toll-free
calls, usually in the middle of the night, to send info rmation to the
Customer Service Center.
Installa DSL filter between the receiver and the telephone
wall jack.

reset itself back to the “factory
defaults,”that is, the settings it ha d
when it was shipped from the
factory.
Ifyou want to reset the receiver toits factory default settings, select
the Yes option. If not, select t he No option.

installedonaDishProreceiver.
May have a non-DishProswitch or
LNBor incompatible accessory
device*in the system.
Checkall cable connections in your
systemand run Check Switch again.
Make sure cable length be tween
receiverand DishPro Twin does not
exceed200 feet. Rerun check switch.
Make surecable is rated for 2150
MHz.Rerun check switch.
Removethe DishPro Adapter; this
deviceis only for non-DishPro
receivers.Rerun check switch.
Removeany non-DishPro switches/
LNBsor incompatible accessory
devices*from the system. All LNBs
andswitches must be DishPro. Rerun
checkswitch.
Whenyou run Check Switch, you see
"Twin"identified as the Device/LNBand
Satellites hows "Conn" but you do not see
"SatelliteReception Verified".
The DishPro Twin LNBF is
connected but no satellite signal is
present.
Checkt hepoint dish/signal screen to
confirm you have satellite signal. If
not,check your dishantenna to ensure
the DishPro Twin is installed
properly,the dish is pointed/peaked
on the satellite signal and there is
nothingblockingthesignalpathtothe
dish.Rerun check switch.
Whenyou run Check Switch, you see
"SatelliteReceptionVerified" butyousee
"Feed"insteadof "Twin" identified as the
Device/LNB.
The DishProTwin is connected but
somethingin the system may be
blockingthe switch commands.
Check the cable path between th e
DishProTwin an d thereceiver and
removeany incompatible accessory
devices*.Rerun check switch.
Whenyou run Check Switch, you do not
see"Twin" identified as a Device or
LNB,but odd transponders are detected
only on one satellite.
Your boxmay need a software
upgrade.
You may have DishProAdapter
installedonaDishProreceiver.
May have a non-DishProswitch or
LNB inthe sy stem
From pointdish/signal screen, select
119 west satellite and an odd
transpondergreater than 10 (e.g.,11).
Confirm satellite signal is present.
Turnthe receiver off and wait 30
minutes.Rerun check switch.
Removethe DishPro Adapter; this
deviceis only for non-DishPro
receivers.Rerun check switch.
Removeany non-DishPro switches/
LNBsfrom the system. All LNBs and
switches must be DishPro. Rerun
checkswitch.
