USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
Whenyou run Check Switch, you see
"Twin" identified as the Device /LNB but
youonly have signalconfirmed from one
satellite.
The DishPro Twin LNBF is
connectedbut the dish may not be
pointedto receive signal from both
110 and 119 satellites.
If the check switchsummary screen
shows"119W"onDishInput2,you
needto point you dish9 degrees to the
eastand repeak your dish. Rerun
checkswitch.
Ifthe check switch summary screen
shows"110W"onDishInput1,you
needto point you dish9 degrees to the
westand repeak your dish. Rerun
checkswitch.
Make sure the skew setting is correct
for a Dish 500 installation at your zip
code.Rerun check switch.
Whenyou run Check Switch, you see

butonly odd transponders are detected.
Cables may notbe rated for 2150
MHz. Make sure cable is rated for 2150
MHzand all accessory devices are
compatible.Rerun check switch.
Gettingreceiver messages that signal is
lostor being acquired Check the weather conditions t o see if
heavyrain or snow could be
temporarily block the signal.
Checkfor any obstructions in way of
the dish like new growth on trees
Wait for weatherto clear up and
restore signal.

Makesure that theextender that receives thesignal from the remote
controlis facing the rightway, so that the IR sensorcan receive the
remote control signals.
Makesure that the IR cable on the extenderthat sends the signal to
thereceiver is right in front of the IR sensoron the receiver front
panel,so that the receiver IR sensor can receivethe signals.
Ifdoing the above does notsolve the problem, contactthe
manufacturerof the extenders for assistance.
