8.2.1 Monitoring Downmixes

AchiefpurposeoftheDP570inamastercontrolenvironmentistoprovidedownmixing
emulation.Forexample,amastercontroloperatorcanquicklyassessiftheannouncerʹs
voiceduringaliveeventwillbedrownedoutwhentheoriginal5.1audiochannelsare
downmixedtoastereosignal,bysimplyselectingStereowithintheDownmixsectionof
theremoteapplicationshowninFigure 82.
