Alineamiento de tiempo

En los sistemas de sonido de los vehículos, dadas la posición de la instalación de los altavoces y la posición del oyente, las distancias desde los altavoces izquierdos al oyente y entre éste y los altavoces derechos suelen ser casi siempre diferentes. Esta diferencia en la distancias se traduce en que el tiempo que tarda el sonido en llegar a la persona es diferente para cada altavoz. El resultado de esto es que las fases de cada altavoz (biases) no concuerdan y el sonido se vuelve artificial debido a que la etapa de sonido no es lo suficientemente ancha.
