How to operate the tuner with an optional HD Radio tuner connected (U.S.A. only)

HD Radio reception settings

The HD Radio reception method can be selected. When the HD Radio tuner is connected to this main unit for the first time, it will be set at [AUTO] (automatic digital/analog selection).

1 Press the [FUNC] button.

The function mode is activated.

Turn the [SEL] button to select HD

2 Radio.

The selected item will be high lighted.

3 Press the [SEL] button.

Displays the reception setting screen.

Turn the [SEL] button to select

4 AUTO or OFF.

The selected item will be highlighted.

In the [AUTO] setting, the selection is switched between digital and analog reception automatically. In areas where digital reception is not possible, reception is automatically switched to analog to avoid loss of reception. During digital reception, [DIGITAL] is shown on the display. This is cleared during analog reception.

In the [OFF] setting, reception is always analog.

5 Press the [SEL] button.

6 Press the [RTN] button.

At this time, other adjustments can also be made in function mode.

Press the [FUNC] or [RTN] button

7 to exit function mode.
