Formatting MG Memory Stick
(quick format)
MG Memory Stick can be formatted.
The function mode is activated.
The selection item is highlighted.
The Memory Stick setting mode is
activated.
The format mode is activated, then
[OK?] message will appear.
MG Memory Stick will be formatted.
At this time, other adjustments can
also be made in Memory Stick
setting mode.
At this time, other adjustments can
also be made in function mode.
ATTENTION
Do not turn off the power or the ignition switch
while formatting. The formatting process will
be interrupted and the data may be corrupted.
Ejecting the Memory Stick
The front panel opens.
Lightly press the Memory Stick once.
ATTENTION
The Memory Stick will not eject by itself. Lightly
press the Memory Stick to eject.
The front panel closes.
1Press the [FUNC] button.
2Turn the [SEL] button to select
Memory Stick.
3Press the [SEL] button.
4Press the [SEL] button for more
than two seconds.
5Press the [RTN] button.
6Press the [RTN] button.
7Press the [FUNC] or [RTN] button
to exit function mode.
1Press the [CD ] button for more
than one second.
2Eject the Memory Stick.
CAUTION
• Do not drive with the front panel open.
The panel may cause unexpected
personal injury during a panic stop or
abrupt changes of the vehicle motion.
• Do not attempt to close the front panel
with your hand. Doing so may damage
the panel.
3Press the [CD ] button for less
than one second.
