Command/Response Tables for Audio SIS Commands

DSP control commands are an extension to SIS commands. They differ only in their data string and the requirement to send each command with an “Au” suffix.

Carriage return (no line feed, hex 0D)

E= Escape key (hex 1B) (use W instead of Esc for Web browsers)

Manual background NOTE: The dB values of the level settings are in 0.1 dB increments using negative numbers but not decimal

places. Multiply the desired level setting by ten for the SIS command value.

Example: To set an input level to 45.2 dB, use 452. To set an input level to -12.5 dB, use -125.

=

Gain and trim control or mix-point select

X6!

=

Level value in dB;

X6@ = Input Polarity

dB value, in 0.1 dB increments using negative numbers but not decimal

places. The valid range depends on the type of gain block specified in the X6) command: The valid range depends on the control or mix-point.

A = –180 to 240 (–18 to +24 dB)

B = –1000 to 60 (–100 to +6.0 dB)

C = –240 to 120 (–24 to +12 dB)

D = –120 to 60 (–12 to +6.0 dB)

E = –1000 to 0 (–100 to 0.0 dB)

The valid range depends on the type of gain block that is assigned to the group

number (X6%) specified in the command:

A = -180 to 800

(-18.0 dB to +80.0 dB)

B = -1000 to 120

(-100.0 dB to +12.0 dB)

C = -350 to 250

(-35.0 dB to + 25.0 dB)

Leading zeros are ignored.

dB value, in 0.1 dB increments, to raise or lower a group fader

dB value, in 0.1 dB increments. The valid range X6^ must be within the range for the gain block grouped in X6%.
