■Operate the unit only on 120 VAC, 50 or 60 Hz. For printers that have been shipped outside of the United States and Canada, the proper voltage transformer (100 VAC or 220/250 VAC) and plug should be furnished with the unit. If you have any doubt as to whether you have the correct power transformer and plug for your countryÕs power supply, DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE UNIT. Refer to Section 5 of this manual or contact your dealer or the factory.
■Stop operation immediately if any liquid or solid object should fall into the cabinet. Unplug the unit and have it checked by qualified service personnel.
■Unplug the unitÕs power transformer from the wall outlet if you do not use the unit for a long time. Disconnect the cord by grasping the plug. Never pull the cord itself.
■The unit is not disconnected from the main power source as long as the power transformer is plugged into the wall outlet, even if the unit itself has been turned off.
■Do not disassemble the cabinet. Refer servicing only to qualified personnel.
