(1)[Thickness] is blinking: Double-feed is detected by light amount transmitted through paper.

(2)	[Thickness & Roller] is	Double-feed is detected based on the light
	blinking:	amount transmitted through paper and
		Brake roller rotation amount.
(3)	[+] is blinking:	Also the double-feed detection by checking
		paper overlapping is executed.

By pressing (Enter button), LCD display changes to <Screen4-5>.<Screen4-5>

8)At <Screen4-5>, by pressing (Left arrow button) or (Right arrow button), the detection timing can be selected.

(1) [Pick] is blinking:	Double-feed is checked by the document pick
	timing.

(2)[Pick & Feed] is blinking: Double-feed is checked by the document pick timing and during feeding.

9)Press (Enter button) to confirm the setting.Press (Exit button), and the LCD display goes back to [Ready] screen.

HINT

Double-feed detection accuracy increases when all the overlapping, thickness and length of documents are checked.
