5.3.1.2 vlan protocol
Function Set the protocol VLAN.
Available Model XG0224 / XG0448 / XG2600
Syntax vlan <vid> protocol <protocol-type>
vlan <vid> protocol <count> <frame-type> <ether-type>
Options

VLAN ID
Specify a decimal VLAN ID from 2 to 4094.
<protocol-type>
Select a system-defined protocol type.
ipv4 : EthernetII Ethertype=0800,0806,8035
ipv6 : EthernetII Ethertype=86dd
fna : 802.3LLC LSAP=8080,0000,0001
[XG2600] The fna protocol can be assigned only untagged frames.

Protocol definition number
Specify a decimal protocol definition value from 0 to 7 if the protocol is defined by the
user.

Specify it if the protocol is defined by the user.
ethertype
Ethernet II or IEEE 802.3s with SNAP format frames
llc
IEEE 802.3 with LLC format frames
<ether-type>
Specify the Ethertype or LLC value if the protocol is defined by the user.
Specify the Ethertype value for Ethernet II format or IEEE 802.3 SNAP format frames,
or specify an LLC value (DSAP or SSAP) for IEEE 802.3 LLC format frames, using a 4-
digit hexadecimal value (from 0000 to ffff).
Setting example)
ipx : ethertype=8137,8138
appletalk : ethertype=809b,80f3
This device can't appreciate Ethernet II format from IEEE 802.3 SNAP format.
If you use appletalk (SNAP format) protocol, please check on there is no Ethernet II
format frame using same ether-type of appletalk.
