9 Expansion cards and iBBU

9.1Installing an expansion card in riser cards

The server has three slots for PCIe expansion cards. These are integrated in the system using riser cards (see positions (1) - (3) in figure 25). The individual slots can be equipped as follows:

●Riser card #1: PCIe x8, standard and low-profile expansion cards

●Riser card #2: PCIe x8, only low-profile expansion cards

●Riser card #3: PCIe x4, internal, only for (low-profile) RAID controllers
