Fresh meat, chicken, fish or seafood that has been frozen should be thawed before cooking (the microwave defrost feature can be used). For other frozen prepackaged foods, follow package directions.

nCookware will become hot. Oven mitts will be needed to handle the cookware.

nFollow cookware suggestions on the oven display or in the cookbook.

nPlace food directly on the metal tray or metal grill tray when cooking, unless prompted by the oven to do otherwise.

nUse the metal tray in the same way you would use a shallow baking pan or baking tray.

nIn addition to the cookware provided, you can use non-metal casserole dishes, pie plates and other heat-safe cookware. Place them directly on the metal tray.

nBe sure to select a size that will rotate easily.

nPlace the metal tray or metal grill tray on the turntable. Place glass or ceramic cookware on the tray.

nDo not use cookware or coverings made of paper, plastic, or foil when cooking during a speedcook cycle.
