Disc Type & CharacteristicsThe DVS3100/3000 is capable ofplaying the following types of discs,having the corresponding logos.

Playback Region Number

Both the DVD player and the discs are coded byregion. These regional codes must match inorder for the disc to play. If the codes do notmatch, the disc will not play. This player isdesigned to playback Region 1 discs (U.S.,Canada, Puerto Rico).
