Follow these steps to program your DVD+VCR to record up to 16 television shows.

•If you select “Set Timer Recording” without having set the clock, the “Clock Settings” menu will appear. You MUST set the clock before you can program a Timer Recording (see page 45).

Insert a blank tape with a record safety tab into the VCR deck.

Press SETUP/ENTER.

S E L E C T “ S E T T I M E R R E C O R D I N G ”

Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to move the pointer to ÒSet Timer Recording,Ó then press the RIGHT arrow key to select.

S E L E C T E V E N T N U M B E R

Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to move the pointer to any available event number from 1-16, then press the RIGHT arrow key to select.

¥You can also use the 0-9 keys to directly select the desired event number.

S E T D AT E A N D T I M E

Use the 0-9 keys to set the date and time of the event. To edit an entry, press CLEAR and then enter the new numbers. To skip an entry without changing it, press the RIGHT arrow key.

Enter the month as a 2-digit number; e.g., for January, press Ò01.Ó

S e t D a y

Enter the day as a 2-digit number; e.g., for the ninth, press Ò09.Ó

S e t H o u r

Enter the hour as a 2-digit number; e.g., for 12:00, press Ò12.Ó

S e t M i n u t e s

Enter the minutes as a 2-digit number; e.g., for 12:00, press Ò00.Ó

S e t A M / P M

Press Ò1Ó for AM or Ò2Ó for PM.
