:: Editing from the Disc Menu
Certain types of edits can only be done from the DVD+R/+RW disc menu. These edits
include Play Full Title, Finalize, Erase Title and Make Compatible:
1Insert a DVD+R or DVD+RW disc into the DVD Recorder.
2Press Disc/Live to switch to Disc mode.
The DVD+R/+RW disc menu appears on the screen.
3Use the / buttons to select the desired Title.
4Press Edit on the remote control, and select from the following options:

Playing a Full Title

The Play Full Title feature allows you to view all hidden Chapters in the selected Title.
You can then restore them using the Show Chapter option in the Edit menu.
Use the / buttons to select Play Full Title and press Play /Enter.
The selected Title will begin playing. Hidden Chapters will be shown with the word HIDDEN on screen during playback.
Press Edit to exit the Edit menu.

Finalizing a Disc (DVD+R only)

Finalizing a DVD+R allows it to be played in virtually any DVD player. It also prevents further writing to the disc.
Use the / buttons to select Finalize and press Play /Enter.
FINALIZE appears briefly on-screen and the DVD+R will be formatted for maximum compatibility and closed to further writing.
Press Edit to exit the Edit menu.

Erasing a Title (DVD+RW only)

The Erase Title command allows you to remove unwanted Titles to free up space on DVD+RW discs for new recordings.
Use the / buttons to select Erase Title and press Play /Enter.
The selected Title is deleted and will no longer be visible on the disc menu.

Making a Disc Compatible (DVD+RW only)

Making a DVD+RW compatible allows it to be played in virtually any DVD player. It also prevents further writing to the disc.
Use the / buttons to select Make Compatible and press Play /Enter.
FINALIZE appears briefly on-screen and the DVD+RW will be formatted for maximum compatibility and closed to further writing.
Press Edit to exit the Edit menu.
