Use to search for channels and set your video output settings.

1Press Setup.

2Use the / buttons to select Tuner/Video and press Play / Enter.

Tuner/Video Menu

3Choose from the following:

Antenna/Cable

Indicates how you receive incoming channels:

Use the / buttons to select Antenna/Cable and press Play / Enter.

Use the / buttons to select Antenna or Cable, whichever you have connected to the ANTENNA IN jack on the back panel of the DVD Recorder. Press Play /Enter to confirm.

Channel Search

Automatically searches for channels:

Use the / buttons to select Channel Search and press Play / Enter.

Use the / buttons to select Confirm (or Cancel) and press Play /Enter.

The DVD Recorder will search for all channels in your area and add them to your master channel list.

Add/Delete Channels

Allows you to add or delete channels from your master channel list:

Use the / buttons to select Add/Del CH and press Play / Enter.

Use the / buttons to select the channel you wish to add or delete and press Play /Enter.

TV Aspect Ratio

Sets your preferred aspect ratio for DVD movies:

Use the / buttons to select TV Aspect and press Play /Enter.

Use the / buttons to select from the following:

16:9 Widescreen

Select if you have a widescreen 16:9 television.

4:3 Letterbox

Select if you have a standard 4:3 television and prefer to watch widescreen versions of DVD movies (if available). Movies will display in letterbox format; i.e., black bars will appear above and below the picture.

4:3 Fullscreen

(Default) Select if you have a standard 4:3 television and prefer to watch full-screen versions of DVD movies (if available). The movie will be formatted to fill the entire screen.

Press Play /Enter to confirm your selection.

Video Output

Sets the Video Output to match the method you used to connect the DVD Recorder to your TV.

Use the / buttons to select Video Output and press Play / Enter.

Use the / buttons to select from the following:

Video & S-Video

(Default) Select if you connected the DVD player to your TV using the Composite Video or S-Video output.
