Follow these steps if you have a cable box and want to be able to watch a second channel while recording a TV program.

Connect an RF coaxial cable from the wall outlet to the “IN (FROM ANT.)” jack on the back panel of the DVD+VCR.

Connect the RF coaxial cable from the “OUT (TO TV)” jack on the back panel of the DVD+VCR to the Input jack on the Cable Box.

Connect an RF coaxial cable from the Output jack on the Cable Box to the “Antenna In” connection on the back of the TV.

4T U N E T H E T V

Set the TV to channel 3 or 4, whichever is used by your cable box.

With all three devices turned on, set your Cable Box to channel 3 or 4 (whichever is set on the DVD+VCR), then press SETUP/ENTER.

The “Language/Langue/Idioma” menu will appear on your television screen. Please proceed with Auto Setup on page 3.

N O T E S

To view cable box channels, set the TV/VCR switch to TV. To watch the DVD+VCR through the RF output, set the TV/VCR switch to VCR and tune channel 3 or 4 on the cable box.

With this hookup, you can watch scrambled channels, but you will not be able to record them.
