INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES PARA LA SEGURI- DAD EN EL USO DE LAS PISTOLAS DE CLAVOS

1. LOS OPERARIOS Y OTRAS PERSONAS EN EL AREA DE TRABA- JO DEBEN USAR GAFAS DE SEGURIDAD CON PROTECTORES LATERALES.

Cuando use una pistola de clavos, use siempre gafas de se- guridad que tengan protectores laterales y asegúrese de que otras personas en el área de trabajo también usen gafas de seguridad.

Las gafas de seguridad deben cumplir con los requerimientos del Instituto Nacional Americano de Normalización, ANSI Z871.1 y brindar protección frontal y lateral contra partículas en vuelo.

El empleador debe velar por el uso de las gafas de seguridad por parte del operario de la pistola de clavos y otras personas en el área de trabajo.

2.NO USE NUNCA OXIGENO NI GASES EMBOTELLADOS. SE PUEDE PRODUCIR UNA EXPLOSION.

No use nunca oxígeno, gases combusti- bles ni ningún otro gas embotellado como fuente de energía para la pistola de clavos. El uso de los gases antes mencionados es peligroso porque hará que la pistola de clavos explote.

Use sólo aire comprimido limpio, seco y regulado.

3.NO APUNTE NUNCA LA HERRAMIENTA HACIA USTED NI NIN- GUNA PERSONA EN EL AREA DE TRABAJO.

Asuma siempre que la pistola de clavos está cargada con sujetadores.

No apunte nunca la pistola de clavos hacia usted ni ninguna persona independiente- mente de que esté cargada o no.

Si se dispara un sujetador accidental- mente, pudieran producirse lesiones graves.

No juegue jamás con la pistola de clavos. Respete la pistola de clavos como una herramienta de trabajo.
