Editing Out the Unwanted Red-eye Effect

You can correct images where the flash has caused the subject to appear with red eyes.

•Only JPEG images captured with this camera can be used for the Red-eye Edit function.

•The Red-eye Edit function does not work on images where red eyes cannot be detected on the camera. An error message appears in Step 3.

1Select an image to edit in Playback mode, and press the four- way controller (3).

The playback mode palette appears.

2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select Z(Red- eye Edit), and press the 4button.

The save confirmation screen appears.

3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Save as], and press the 4button.

The edited image is saved as a new image.
