“SILKYPIX Developer Studio 3.0 for PENTAX” is included on the CD-ROM (S-SW115). With the SILKYPIX Developer Studio, you can develop RAW files, adjust the color of the images and other settings, and save the new images as a JPEG or TIFF file.

Installing the Software

You can install the software from the provided CD-ROM.

When multiple accounts have been setup on a computer, log on with an account that has administrative rights before installing the software.

1 Turn the computer on.

Make sure no other software is running.

2 Place the CD-ROM (S-SW115) into the CD/DVD drive on the computer.

The [PENTAX Software Installer] screen appears.

If the [PENTAX Software Installer] screen does not appear

•For Windows

1 Click [My Computer] from the Start menu.

2 Double-click the [CD/DVD drive (S-SW115)] icon.

3 Double-click the [Setup.exe] icon.

•For Macintosh

1 Double-click the CD/DVD (S-SW115) icon on the desktop. 2 Double-click the [PENTAX Installer] icon.
