•You can also change the setting from the [Focus Settings] (p.65) of the [A Rec. Mode 1] menu.

•[Autofocus Method] is fixed to D when the capture mode is set to n (Auto Picture), or R(Kids) of H(Scene) mode.

•[Autofocus Method] is fixed to E when the capture mode is set to \ (Moving Object)/l(Night Snap)/Z(Pet)/n(Stage Lighting) of H(Scene) mode.

•In [AF Select (25 Points)], [Select] or [Spot] mode, you can take pictures by fully pressing the shutter release button only when the subject is in focus. To take pictures when the subject is not in focus, set [7. AF Release Options] (p.68) to [Release-priority] in the [ACustom Setting 1] menu.
