Protecting Images from Deletion (Protect)

You can protect images from being accidentally deleted.

Even protected images are deleted if the inserted SD Memory Card is formatted.

1 Press the four-way controller (3) in Playback mode.

The playback mode palette appears.

2 Use the four-way controller (2345) to select Z (Protect), and press the 4button.

The screen to select how to change the settings is displayed.

3 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [Single Image] or [All Images], and press the 4 button.

If you selected [All Images], proceed to Step 5.

	Use the e-dial to select an image to protect.

	to select [Protect], and press the

4button.

Select [Unprotect] to cancel the
protection of the image.		Protect
		Unprotect
The image is protected and the Yicon	MENU	OK OK
appears at the top right of the screen.

Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to protect other images.

6 Press the 3button.

Additional Changing Settings

The camera returns to Playback mode.
