If any button other than the four-way controller (2345) is pressed, or if no operations are made within 30 seconds, the camera returns to normal display.

Enlarges the image (up to 4 times).
Reduces the image (up to 1 times).
Moves the area to enlarge.

The image on the monitor is enlarged.
Turn the focusing ring, or press the 4button.
MF Assist is set and the camera is ready to take a picture.
Press the 3button twice.

6 Check that the subject is in focus.
The [Focus Settings] screen appears.
2 Use the four-way controller (23) to select [MF Assist], and press the four-way controller (5).
3 Set the magnification to [Off], [x2], or [x4], and press the 4button.
The magnification can be changed with the e-dial while the image is enlarged.
Select [Focus Settings] in the [ARec. Mode 1] menu, and press the four-way controller (5).

You can more easily focus on the subject by enlarging the image in the center of the monitor during \mode.
