This is the front view of the HP Jornada.

¥Audio speakerÑPlays system sounds or voice memos.

¥MicrophoneÑAllows you to record voice memos.

¥Reset buttonÑQuickly reinitializes the WindowsÊCE operating system. (Warning: When you reset your HPÊJornada, you will lose all unsaved data in any open documents. See the Resetting section in chapterÊ8.)

¥KeyboardÑAllows comfortable touch typing and includes embedded numeric keypad.

¥Touch padÑOffers full customization for desktop navigation. (See the Adjusting the HP Jornada touch pad section in chapterÊ7.)

¥Battery charging LEDÑGlows while the main battery is charging (when connected to AC power). Red indicates that the battery power is low, amber indicates that the battery power is at 90 percent of full power, and green indicates that the battery is fully charged.

¥HP Jornada hot keysÑAllow one-touch access to your favorite programs, folders, or documents. (See the Using the HP Jornada hot keys section in chapterÊ7.)
