Disabling the PIN Requirement

If you disable the PIN requirement, you remove protection of personal data on your SIM card. Anyone can then use your phone and access your personal data.

1From the Phone Ready screen, press nuntil you see the “Prgm” menu option.

2Press ounder “Prgm”.

3Press 4then 7. The 47=Require SIM PIN:On screen displays, indicating that the PIN requirement is set.

Exit Off

4Press ounder “Off”.

5Enter your SIM PIN.

6Press ounder “Ok”.

7Press ounder “Exit”.

Enabling the PIN Requirement

1From the Phone Ready screen, press nuntil you see the “Prgm” menu option.

2Press ounder “Prgm”.

3Press 4then 7. The 47=Require SIM PIN:Off screen displays, indicating that the PIN requirement is off.

4Press ounder “On”.

5Enter your SIM PIN (Nextel provides the initial SIM Card PIN).
