Text and Numeric Paging

Notification of New Pages

When a new page arrives:

•“New Mail Read?” displays.

•cflashes at the top of the screen.

•Phone rings every 30 seconds as an alert/reminder.

Accessing New Pages

When you receive a page, you can view it immediately or later:

View a Page Immediately

1Press ounder “Now”. The number of new and saved pages is dis- played briefly, followed by your first page.

2Press ounder “Read”.

3Use the on the side of the phone to scroll through messages.

Viewing a Page Later

Press ounder “Later”. The cicon will stop flashing but

theuicon will remain on the display to remind you that you have a page.

Viewing Stored Pages

1While in Phone Ready mode (see “Modes and Menus” on page 23) press ounder “Mail”.

2If Mesg Mail isn’t highlighted already, press 2to select it.

3Press ounder “Ok”.

4Press ounder “Read”.

5Use the on the side of the phone to scroll through messages.

6Press ounder “Save” to Save the message. Or, press ounder “Erase” to delete the message.

7Press ounder “Exit” to exit Mesg Mail.
