Naming a Talkgroup

1Press nuntil you see the “Prgm” menu selection.

2Press ounder “Prgm”.

1Press 2then 3.

2Press ounder “Ok”.

3At Add New Entry?, press ounder “Ok”.

4At Enter ID, enter the desired Talkgroup number.

5Press ounder “Store”.

6At Enter Name, enter the desired Talkgroup name.

7Press ounder “Store”.

8When finished, press ounder “Exit”.

Making a Group Call

1From Group Mode, press sto scroll to the desired Talk- group.

2Press ounder “Ok”.

3Press and hold the Push-To-Talk button to talk. Release the Push-To- Talk button to listen.

Receiving a Group Call

When you receive a Group call, you will hear a chirp. Your Nextel phone automatically switches to Group mode and the Talkgroup name displays. To join a Group call:

1Wait for the caller to finish speaking.

2Press and hold the Push-To-Talk button to talk. Release the Push-To- Talk button to listen.

NOTE: You can receive Group Calls only in the Talkgroup that you have predefined.
