As of A.11.20, Serviceguard supports cluster-wide DSFs, and HP recommends that you use them. See “About Cluster-wide Device Special Files (cDSFs)” (page 104).

Figure 30 shows the individual disks combined in a multiple disk mirrored configuration.

Figure 31 shows the mirrors configured into LVM volume groups, shown in the figure as /dev/ vgpkgA and /dev/vgpkgB. The volume groups are activated by Serviceguard packages for use by highly available applications.
