About Filtering Events
The management server provides several types of event filters to specify which events you want Event Manager to display.
You can use all the event filters at once or you can use just one of them. You can filter events by:
•Severity level
•Element type
•Summary text or element name
For example, assume you are having problems with a host named WickedWitch, and you want to see only events from WickedWitch and you only want to see events with a severity level of Critical and Major.
