Filtering Events by Summary Text or Element Name
You can filter events by summary text or element name. For example, assume you are having problems with a host named WickedWitch. You could specify that only events from WickedWitch are displayed in Event Manager.

1.In the Summary Text or Element Name field in Event Manager, type the summary text or element name you want to be used in the filter.
2.To filter events by element type, do one of the following:
•Select a filter from the Show Element Type
•Click the Customize button next to the Show Element Type
3.When you are asked if you want to apply your changes, click Yes.
4.Click the Apply Filters button.
Only events with the specified text are displayed in Event Manager.

Hide the filters for additional screen space. When you hide the filters, the following features are hidden:
