Troubleshooting Tools
To receive information messages sent when verifying or loading a configuration file, use the
#ipqosadmin
Examine error, warning and informative messages for any unexpected information.
•Examine the active configuration and determine if it meets your expectations. Run the following command:
#ipqosadmin
•Examine the statistics collected on the active configuration and determine if the policies are behaving as you expected. Run the following command:
#ipqosadmin
If statistics do not match your expectations, and you’ve ensured your configuration matches your expectations, monitor network traffic to see if conditions have changed such that changes to the active configuration are warranted.

Some of the general networking utilities available include the following:
•netstat
•ifconfig
•syslog
•nettl
•traceroute
•route
•ping
•lanadmin
Refer to the manpages for these utilities to get more information on how to use these utilities and how to interpret their output.
