DO NOT attempt to lift or tilt a wheelchair by using any removable (detachable) parts. Lifting by means of any removable (detachable) parts of a wheelchair may result in injury to the user or damage to the wheelchair.

7.1Installing the Swingaway Padded Armrest Socket

For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 1 on page 37, FIGURE 2 on page 37, and FIGURE 3 on page 38.

1.Remove the back. Refer to Removing/Installing the Back Frame on page 59.

2.Remove the split ring of the back release cord from the plunger pin in the back stop insert.

￿ WARNING

Plunger pin is spring loaded and can be projectile. Use caution when removing, otherwise injury may occur.

3.Remove the plunger pin from the back stop insert.

4.Perform STEPS 2-3 on remaining back stop insert.
