12.4Installing/Adjusting Stroller Handles Removing

1.Remove the detent pin that secures one stroller handle to one of the back cane.

2.Remove the stroller handle

3.If necessary, repeat STEPS 1-2 for the opposite stroller handle.

Installing

1.Perform one of the following:

12-14-Inch Wide Wheelchairs - Insert one of the stroller handles into one of the back canes so that it is facing either toward or away from the inside of the wheelchair FIGURE 3.

10-Inch Wide Wheelchairs - Insert one stroller handle into one of the back canes so that it is facing away from the inside of the wheelchair FIGURE 3.

2.Position the stroller handle so that the mounting hole in the back cane aligns with the desired height mounting hole in the stroller handle and secure with detent pin.

3.Ensure the detent pin passes through the mounting hole in the back cane and the desired height mounting hole in the stroller handle.

4.Repeat STEPS 1-3 for the opposite stroller handle.

Height Adjustment

1.Remove the detent pin that secures one stroller handle to one of the back cane.

2.Slide the stroller handle up or down until the desired height is reached, making sure the mounting hole in the back cane aligns with the desired height mounting hole in the stroller handle.

3.Reinstall the detent pin so that it passes through the mounting hole in the back cane AND the desired height mounting hole in the stroller handle.

4.Repeat STEPS 1 - 3 for the opposite stroller handle.

When closing a wheelchair with stroller handles, raise or lower one of the stroller handles two hole heights.
