onboard IDE/ATA interface. If you are not familiar with how devices

 

connect to the IDE interface, please see Understanding IDE

Change the jumper setting to “Master”.

The Zip Internal drive is set to the slave configuration as the factory default

at shipping. In order to connect the Zip Internal drive as the only device on the secondary IDE channel, you will need to change the jumper setting on the drive. The jumper is a small plastic piece that surrounds two pins. Use the jumper provided and set it on the back of the Zip drive as shown in the illustration below.
