STATIC CONVERGENCE ADJU STMENT
1. Input a c ross hat ch sig nal.
2. U sing 4- pole con vergenc e magnet s, ove rlap the r ed and blue
lines in t he center of th e screen (Fig. 1) and turn them to
magent a (r ed/blue ).
3. U sing 6-p ole conv ergence magnets, overla p the mage nta
(red/b lue) and gr een lines in the center of t he screen and tu rn
them to white.
4. Repeat 2 and 3 ab ove, and make b est c onver genc e.
● Af ter adjustm ent, fi x the wed ge at the or iginal p osition .
F asten t he r etain er sc rew of th e def lecti on yok e.
Fix the 6 magnets with glue.
DYNAMIC (p eriphery) CONVER GENCEADJUSTMENT
After adjusting purity & static convergence.
1. Move the def lec tion yoke up an d down to adj ust t he pi n cush ion
di stort ion in th e scr een t op an d bott om. ( See F ig. 2)
2. Move th e deflectio n yoke lef t to righ t to ov erlap the lines in th e
pe ripher y, and m atch t he Yv(VR 1).(As s hown in Fig. 4 )
3. U sing the V R1 o n the defl ectio n yok e, match t he YH
(CROSS) .

4. U sing the V R2 o n the defl ectio n yok e, match t he YH (BOW).
(See Fi g. 3 an d 6)
5. R epeat the s teps 1 and 4 and obt ain a n opt imum conv erg ence.
6. Differ ential( XV) coil ADJ USTMENT.

cen ter o f b oth si des of th e pictu re as sh own in Fig . 5, a djust the
XV difference by us ing the dif ferent ial coil( XV coil) on the top of
the
d eflection yo ke (Fig. 6) so as t o minim ize the X V diff erenc e.
