SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

BEFORE STARTING SERVICE ADJUSTMENT

1. There ar e 2 ways of adju sting this TV: On e is with the
REMOTE CONTROL UNIT and the other is the conventional
method using adjustment parts and components.
2. The setting (adjustment) using the REMOTE CONTROL
UNIT is made on th e basis of the initial setting values . The
setting values whic h adju st the screen to the o ptimum
condition can be different from the initial setting values.
3. Make sure th at connecti on is correct ly made to AC p ower
source.
4. Turn on the power of t he TV and measurin g instrument for
warmin g up f or at least 30 m inut es b efor e start ing adju stment .
5. If th e receive or input signal is not sp ecified, use the m ost
approp riate s ig nal for adj ust ment.
6. Never touch parts (such as vari able r esis tors, t rans for mers and
condensers) not shown in the adjustment items of this
servic e adjustme nt.
7. Preparat ion f or ad just ment (pres etti ng) :
Unless otherw ise spec ified in the a djust ment it ems, pr eset th e
following fu nctions with the R EMOTE CO NTROL UNIT :

PICTURE MODE (VSM) STANDARD
SLEEP TIMER OFF

1. DC voltmeter (or digital voltmeter)
