Storing your own sound adjustments

You can adjust the sound modes to your preference and store your own adjustments in memory (USER 1, USER 2 and USER 3).

There is a time limit in doing the following procedure. If the setting is canceled before you finish, start from step 1 again.

1 Press EQ to activate the sound mode (EQ).

Each time you press the button, the sound mode (EQ) is activated or deactivated.

When the sound mode (EQ) is activated, the last selected sound mode is recalled and applied to the current source.

Ex.: When you have selected “POP” previously.

2 Select the sound mode you want.

3 Press SEL (select) to enter adjustment mode.

4 Select the frequency.

• You can select 70 Hz, 150 Hz, 400 Hz, 1 kHz, 2.4 kHz, 6 kHz, and 12.5 kHz.

5 Adjust the level of the selected frequency in the step above.

• You can adjust the level within the range of “–05” (minimum) to “+05” (maximum) for each frequency.

6 Repeat steps 4 and 5 to adjust the other frequency levels.

7 Select one of the user sound modes (USER 1, USER 2, USER 3).

8 Press SEL (select) to store the adjustments.

The last adjusted frequency and its level appear on the display.

Note:

If you want to make temporary adjustments and not store in memory, skip steps 7 and 8. Your temporary adjustments will remain effective until you select another sound mode.
