Cautions:
vWhen the access authority of the computer is not proper, the printer
may not be able to perform printing even if installation of the printer
driver is completed.
Ensure that the access authority is proper according to the
instructions of the network administrator.

Windows Vista

Cautions:
vCheck to ensure that you can access the computer to which the
printer is connected.
vCheck also to ensure that the printer can be shared.
1Open “Printers” in [Control Panel]
vA [Printer] screen appears.

2Click [Add a printer] in the toolbar
vA printer selection screen appears.
.
3Select [Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer], and click [Next]
vA screen for selecting the printer appears.

4Select a printer, and click [Next]
vA driver installation confirmation screen appears.
.
5Click [Install driver]
vA [User Account Control] screen appears.
6On the user account screen, click [Continue]
vA screen for entering the printer name appears.

7Select the [Set as the default printer] checkbox if necessary, and
click [Next]
vA screen indicating that the printer is added appears.

8Check the details, followed by clicking [Finish]
vNetwork sharing of the printer is complete.
9Open “Printers” in [Control Panel]
vCheck to ensure that the printer is added.
