Setting the AM tuner spacing
AM stations are spaced 9 kHz apart in some countries and 10 kHz in other countries.
■When the main unit is turned off
To select 10 kHz spacing, while holding down ¢, press Fon the main unit to turn on the power. “10K STEP” appears in the display win- dow.
To select 9 kHz spacing, while holding down 4, press Fon the main unit to turn on the power. “9K STEP” appears in the display win- dow.
NOTE
•When the spacing is switched, the preset radio station memory is erased.
Selecting a radio station
1 Press [FM/AM] to select “FM” or“AM” in the display window.•Pressing [FM/AM] selects a radio broadcast as the sound source.
•Repeatedly pressing [SOURCE] on the main unit can also select a radio broadcast as the source.
•Each time you press [FM/AM], the band tog- gles between “FM” and “AM”.
