Fast reverse/fast forward search
There are two methods.
■When a disc/file is played back
• Press 1or ¡.Each time you press ¡, the speed increases. To restore the normal speed, press [DVD 3], [USB 3] or 3(playback).
• Hold down 4or ¢.NOTE
•For some discs/files, sound is intermittent or no sound is produced during fast reverse/fast for- ward search.
•The selectable speeds and displays vary by the disc/file type.
Playing back from a position 10 seconds before
■When a disc is played back

Slow motion playback
(only for moving images)
■When a disc is paused

SLOW] or [SLOW 
].•Each time you press [
SLOW] or [SLOW 
], the speed increases.
•Press 8 to pause playback, and press [DVD 3] or 3(playback) to return to normal playback.
NOTE
•No sound is produced.
•The picture motion in the reverse direction may not be smooth.
•For a VCD, SVCD or DVD VR, slow motion play- back can be used in the forward direction only.
