Using the remote control for the TV operation
Before the TV operation, select the remote control mode for the TV.
■IMPORTANT
• Slide the remote control mode selector to the lowest position.

•When the remote control mode selector is slid to the lowest position and [TV] is pressed, some buttons may not work.
•It is recommended that you slide the remote control mode selector to [AUDIO] after using this function. Most of the other functions can be used when the remote control mode selector is at [AUDIO].

For an Echostar DBS: Press [2], then [1].
For a Sony DBS: Press [2], then [0].
When the manufacturer of your DBS has 2 or more codes, select the manufacturer codes in turn and find the one that operates the DBS and the remote control properly.

•Manufacturer codes are subject to change with- out notice. You may not be able to operate the DBS produced by the manufacturer.
•After replacing the batteries of the remote con- trol, set the manufacturer code again.
