You can use a camcorder as the source player and your recorder as the recording deck.
A Make connections.
AIf the camcorder has no
... connect the camcorder’s AUDIO OUT and VIDEO
OUT connectors to the recorder’s front panel AUDIO and VIDEO input connectors.
BIf the camcorder has an
... connect the camcorder’s AUDIO OUT and
AUDIO and S-VIDEO input connectors.
●When using a monaural camcorder, connect its AUDIO OUT connector to the AUDIO L input connector on your recorder.
B Set the recorder’s input mode.
Press AUX (number key “0”) and/or PR to select
C Set the edit mode.
See “PICTURE CONTROL” on page 45.
D Start the camcorder.
Engage the Play mode of the camcorder.
E Start the recorder.
Engage the Record mode of the recorder.
NOTES:
● All necessary cables can be obtained from your dealer. |
● When you select “EDIT” to dub tapes in step 3, be sure to |
select “AUTO” (or “NORM” when “B.E.S.T.” is set to “OFF”) |
after you finish dubbing the tapes. |
● When you use this recorder as the recording deck for editing, |
set “O.S.D. (PLAY)“ and “O.S.D. (REC)“ to “OFF“ ( pg. 45, |
46) if you do not want to record the operational indicators |
displayed on the TV screen. |
● It is also possible to use the rear AUDIO/VIDEO IN or AUDIO/ |
S VIDEO IN connectors for the connection. When you use the |
rear connectors, select |
