6-3 Holiday timer recording

Timer recording can be performed on specified days during the year such as holidays. When holiday timer recording and programmed timer recording overlap, holiday timer recording has a priority.

)TIMER indication

1.Turn the power ON.

Check the connections and set the [POWER] switch on the rear panel to ON.

2.Set [AUDIO REC] to ON/OFF with the <AUDIO REC> menu switch under <DVR MODE>.

3.Display the [HOLIDAY SET] screen.

Display the [HOLIDAY SET] screen. For details, refer to “Setting” on page 18.

4.Set the desired day.

The cursor blinks at the setting point. Set the day with [JOG – +] and [JOG p[].

5.Set the start time (hours).

Move the blinking cursor to the “hour” for START with [JOG f]. Set the required time with [JOG – +].

6.Set the start time (minutes).

Move the blinking cursor to the “minute” for START with [JOG p[]. Set the required time with [JOG – +].

7.Set the stop time hours and minutes.

Set the hours and minutes for END as described in steps 4 and 5.

8.Set the picture quality.

Move the blinking cursor to [MODE] with [JOG p[].

Select the picture quality with [JOG – +].

H:High-quality recording

N:Normal-quality recording

B:Medium-quality recording

L:Low-quality recording

9.Set the frame mode (REC SPEED).

Move the blinking cursor with [JOG p[] and select <REC SPEED> with [JOG – +].

[PRG] is automatically set to “ON”.

10.End HOLIDAY SET.

When all settings are complete, press the [MENU] button twice. The normal screen is restored.

11.Engage the Holiday Recording Standby mode.

Press the [TIMER] button to engage the Holiday Record-

ing Standby mode.

The [TIMER] indication () lights on the display panel. * To cancel or change the setting, refer to page 26.

Memo:

● Holiday recordings take priority over normal timer recordings. (Only [TIMER] indicator lights on the display panel.)

● Maximum recording for HOLIDAY SET is 24 hours.
