Set to “SENSOR”.

Caution:

Do not use the Sleep mode in the Sensor Recording Standby mode. If the Sleep mode is engaged, there will be a delay between the time an alarm signal is received and sensor recording starts. No images will be recorded during this period.

Memo:

Sensor recording speed <REC SPEED> is fixed at “30”. <AUDIO REC> is fixed to “ON”.

<REC QUALITY> for sensor recording is set with <DVR MODE>.

1.Connect an alarm sensor.

Connect the alarm sensor to the rear panel [ALARM IN] terminal.

2.Turn the power ON.

Check the connections and set the [POWER] switch on the rear panel to ON.

3.Set the menu switches.

Set the required menu switches. For details, refer to “Setting” on page 18.

[ALARM/SENSOR MODE]

[REC MODE] : Set to “SENSOR”. (S) lights on the display panel for the [SENSOR] indication.

[REC DURATION] : Select how long you want sensor recording to continue after an alarm signal is received.

[PRESENSOR REC] : Set to “ON” to execute pre- sensor recording.

[PRESENSOR REC DURATION] : Set the time for pre-sensor recording.

[BUZZER]

[ALARM/SENSOR]: Set to “ON” to sound the buzzer during sensor recording.

Reference: “5-3 Menu switch details” on page 21.

4.Engage the Sensor Recording Standby mode. Engage the Stop mode. When an alarm signal is received, sensor recording starts (see step 3 above).

*To stop the buzzer during sensor recording, press the [CANCEL] button.

Pre-sensor recording

In the Pre-sensor Recording mode, recording starts from the point before an alarm signal is input during sensor recording.

<Example>

When <SENSOR REC> and <PRESENSOR REC> are set to “ON” and <PRESENSOR REC DURATION> is set to “30” sec.

Memo:

Even though <PRESENSOR REC> is set to “OFF”, pre-sensor recording may be performed for about 1 second.
