Input Gain

Youcanboostweakersignals by increasingthe input gain valueat the bottomleft of this screen(in 3 dg, 6 dg,and9 dggainincrements).

Tomaximizeyoursystem'ssignal to noiseratio for a particular input, the input gain valueappliedto the signal shouldbeincreased(if needed)to maintaina signal strength closeto 0 dBgain.Theoptimalsignalgainvalueis 0 dB.

Anti Clip

Settinganti clip to ONengagesautomaticdistortion protection. Anti clip measuresthe signal level andpreventsthe input signal fromdistorting (clipping) the analog-to-digital converters.Setanti clip to OFFif youwantto disengagedistortion protection.Thisis particularly useful if youneedto maintainmaximumsignal-to-noise thresholdswhen recordingfroma source.
