Theinfrared sensoronthe front panelis renderedinactive until programmingis complete.

1.Usethe 1" 4. keys (80) to select STARTon the PROGRAMREMOTEscreenandpress enter(83).

2.Pressthe front panel level buttons (30) to select a command(commandsappears the front paneldisplay).

3.Place the programmableremotein programmode(see learning remoteuser manual).

¸4. Placethe infrared sensorof the programmableremoteso that it facesthe infrared emitter (17) on the HomeTheaterStandardfront panel.

5.Pressandhold the savebutton (29) on the HomeTheaterStandardfront paneluntil the programmableremotehas learned the code. (Seeyour remote's user manualfor informationon time needed).

6.Repeatsteps 2 through 5 for as manycommandsas desired.

7.Pressthe recall button(31) on the front panelto exit the programmode.

Whenall remotecontrol programmingis finished, pressthe menukey(81) to return the mainmenu.
