Whenthe user button (24) is enabledto adjust the dynamicrangeof the HTS,you canpressandreleasethe userbuttonon the front panelto scroll throughthe following dynamicrangechoices:

NORMAL	11 dB of compression
MAX	no compression
NIGHT	22 dB of compression

DTS A utoswitch

DTSAUTOSWITCHOFFkeeps your HomeTheater Standardoperating in DTSmode,even if the bit streamis interrupted. Bit streaminterruptionnwhichcanoccurin somedevices whenyoupressandreleasefast forward,track back/forward,or scanbuttonsfor a compactdisc, digital videodisc,or laser discmcancausepotentially damagingbursts of noise.

This menuallowsyouto select whetherthe DTSautoswitchis turnedonor off. Krell recommendsthat youleave the DTSautoswitchsetting on (the default setting).

To changeDTSautoswitch setting:

1.Usethe 1" 4, keys(80) on the remotecontrol to select MOREon the OPERATIONmenu screen,andpressenter (83).

2.TheMOREscreenappears.Pressthe 1" $ keys(80) to select DTSAUTOSWITCH.

3.Usethe 1" $ keys(80) to select DTSautoswitchOFF.

4.SelectOKandpressenter (83) to set the selection. Pressthe menukey(81) to exit.
