11. CASSETTE SETTING FOR THICK PAPER/OHP FILM

Thick paper with a weight of 28lbs. and OHP film can be fed from the cassette. This is convenient if copies are often made on special paper.

Setting the Cassette for Thick Paper (28lb.)

1 c The procedure for changing the paper size of the cassette for thick paper is the same as that for normal paper. See page 130.

Set the thick paper (28lb.) on the cassette.

c Thick paper with a weight of greater than 28lbs. can be fed only from the sheet bypass. See page 42.

c Up to 400 sheets (28lb.) can be set at a time.

2 Press the PROGRAM key to enter the Program menu, and press the THICK PAPER key.

3 Press the desired cassette for the thick paper on the display.

c The top cassette cannot be set for thick paper. Use the 2nd, 3rd or 4th cassette.

4 Press the SET key.
