ToenabletheTrackPointScrollingTipstoviewinformationontheT rackPointcenterbutton,dothefollowing:
1.ClicktheUSBTr ackPointicon.
2.SelectT rackPointProperties.
3.ClicktheUSBTr ackPointtab.
4.SelectEnableTrackPointScrollingTips.
5.ClickOK.
6.Pressthecenterbuttonforthreetimes.TheTrackPointScrollingTipswindowopens.
7.ClickY es.TheUsingtheTrackPointCentreButtonwindowopens.
ChoosingScrollingorMagnifyingGlassfunction
AfterclickingtheUSBT rackPointicon,youcanndthefollowingthreeoptions:
•Scrolling:ThisoptionenablesyoutoscrollWebpages,longdocuments,largespreadsheets,orother
windowsbypressingthecenterbuttonandmovingthepointingstickevenifthetar getwindowisnot
active.
•MagnifyingGlass:TheMagnifyingGlassfunctionisusedtoenlargeanareaofyourscreen.Y oucan
movetheenlargedareabypressingthecenterbutt onandmovingthepointingstick.
•Neither:Whenthisoptionisselected,theTr ackPointwillperformitsdefaultfunctions.Thedefault
functionsvaryaccordingtotheoperatingsystems.
Youcanalsondthethreeoptionsbydoingthefollowing:
1.ClicktheUSBTr ackPointicon.
2.SelectT rackPointProperties.
3.ClicktheUSBTr ackPointtab.
4.IntheChoosingScrollingorMagnifyingGlassFunctionarea,youcanndthethreeoptions.
YoucanadjustsettingsforthecenterbuttonbyclickingSettingsintheChoosingScrollingorMagnifying
GlassFunctionarea.IntheCenterButton-Settingswindow,youcancustomizethefollowing:
•ScrollingT ype:Ther earethreescrollingtypesforyoutochoosefrom:
–Standard:Ifyouselectthisoption,thescrollingfunctionworksonmostoftheapplications.
–Smooth:Ifyouselectthisoption,thecenterbuttonfunctionsasthemiddlebuttononamouse.For
sometargetapplications,smoothscrollingmightnotwork.Inthiscase,tryStandardorAuto-select.
–Auto-select:ThisoptionautomaticallyselectsStandardorSmooth,dependingontheapplication
beingscrolled.
•MagnifyingGlass:ThisareaoffersthefollowingoptionsfortheMagnifyingGlassfeature:
